Though part amount was paid within the deadline given by this Court and part amount is paid after the deadline and benefits of 7th Pay Commission are yet to be released in favour of the petitioner. Respondents, in their affidavit-in-reply, have explained that the delay in payment of gratuity, commutation of pension and revised pension as per 7th Pay Commission was due to procedural aspect and for necessary sanctions and conclusion of departmental inquiry and the queries raised by the Government Auditor in the 2025:BHC-AUG:9742-DB 932 CP NO.614.2023 -2- Special Audit. The delay is not intentional or deliberate. 2. We accept the said explanation and in view of the compliance of the order passed by this Court, the contempt petition is, disposed of.
