Petitioner made an application for transfer on 2nd May, 2025 addressed to the Chairman, Purba Bardhaman District Primary School Council. Petitioner by making application prayed for transfer from one primary school to another primary school in the same district i.e. Purba Bardhaman. It is also submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that petitioner completed more than five years of approved service as primary teacher. Prayer is made for consideration of the transfer application of the petitioner. Respondents are represented by learned advocates. The Chairman, Purba Bardhaman District Primary School Council being respondent no.4 is directed to take decision on transfer application of the petitioner dated 2nd May, 2025 in accordance with law by six weeks from the date of communication of this order. The decision to be taken by the respondent no.4 shall be communicated to the petitioner by ten days thereafter. The writ petition stands disposed of. However, it is made clear that suspension of Utsashree portal shall not be a ground for rejecting the transfer application of the petitioner.
