The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Margomunda P.S. Case No. 34 of 2023, for the offence registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Arun Kumar Dubey, learned J.M.F.C., Madhupur. On 19.05.2023, the informant was waylaid by three unknown persons near Laharjori. The accused persons robbed Rs.52,941/- and one mobile phone from him. It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R. nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from his possession. Mrs. Anuradha Sahay, learned A.P.P. on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. However, she has submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Arun Kumar Dubey, learned J.M.F.C., Madhupur, or his successor, in connection with Margomunda P.S.
