ANJARIA) The direction in the order of learned Single Judge dated 15.02.2024 was for deciding the application of the petitioner- complainant which was regarding the request for change of Khata. The present contempt petition is filed in respect of alleged non- compliance of the said order. 2. When the contempt petition came up for consideration today, learned advocate Mr. S.H. Prashanth for the respondent filed the affidavit along with which, the endorsement dated 10.10.2024 has been produced, whereby the request of the complainant for bifurcation of Khata has not been acceded to. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:13142-DB CCC No. 580 of 2024 3. The said order of the Assistant Revenue Officer, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike is served on the counsel for the complainant along with the compliance affidavit. 4. The factum of passing of the endorsement is not disputable by the complainant. 5. In the aforesaid view, the contempt petition does not survive. It is accordingly disposed of as not surviving. At the request of learned advocate B.C. Venkatesh for the complainant made at this stage, it is observed that the complainant is at liberty to challenge the endorsement in question by instituting appropriate independent proceedings in accordance with law in respect of which, however, this court does not express any opinion on merits.
