The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Deoghar (Cyber) P.S. Case No. 41 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B of the I.P.C. and Sections 66(B), 66(C), 66(D) of the I.T. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Deoghar. 3. On 10.07.2023, the informant had gone to withdraw money from ATM of Union Bank at Deoghar. While he was withdrawing money, his ATM card got stuck in the ATM machine. A placard was kept there displaying a phone number that if anybody had any difficulty in withdrawing money, he should contact that number. The informant contacted the number stated in the placard. Thereafter, a person impersonating as Bank Officer induced the informant in stating his OTP number and PIN number and thereafter, withdrew Rs. 69,667/- from his bank account. During the course of investigation, the petitioner and co-accused was apprehended in Mokama while committing a similar offence. They were remanded in this case. It further appears that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he is accused in two cases of similar nature. 4.
