Despite repeated calls, there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner, nor is any representation made to press the petition. 2. Mr. Hariom Rai, learned Panel Lawyer, appearing for respondents No. 1 to 4/State and Ms. K. Tripti Rao, learned counsel, appearing for respondent No. 5, are present. 3. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer: “It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be quashed the FIR No. 0234 of 2021, dated 16.06.2021, and give direction to concern Police Station to take complaint of the petitioner and proceed the matter accordingly, in the interest of justice.” 4. Learned State Counsel submits that, in the present case, the charge-sheet has already been filed before the learned trial Court. Charges have also been framed against the petitioner, and two prosecution witnesses have already been examined. The trial is presently in progress. 3 5. We have perused the prayers and pleadings in the petition, along with the annexures filed in the case. 6. It appears that the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the matter due to the efflux of time. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed on this ground alone.
