P V N KIRAN KUMAR Counsel for the Respondent(S): 1. GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: :: ORDER :: Heard Sri P.V.N Kiran Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri B.V. Satyanarayana, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, appeared for respondents 1 to 4. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, Ex- servicemen, assigned Ac.1.30 cents in Sy.No.268/3 of Ampapuram Village fields, Bapulapadu Mandal, NTR District on 01.01.1992 (Ex.P4). The Tahsildar updated the Record of Rights and issued a passbook. Thereafter, the land was included in the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A of the Registration Act, 1908. Learned counsel would also submit that the petitioner SRS,J W.P.No.19028 of 2025 made a representation dated 24.05.2025 (Ex.P1) to the Collector to delete the property from the list of prohibited properties. However, the same was not considered. 3. Sri B.V. Satyanarayana, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, would submit that the Government issued G.O.Ms.No.300 Revenue (Assignment-I), dated 05.07.2016, constituting a committee to address the grievances concerning the lands entered in the prohibitory lists under Section 22-A of the Act. The petitioner has to make an application, as per the G.O., so that the Committee will examine the issue and pass appropriate orders. 4. In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will make an application through Mee-seva as per G.O.Ms No.300, dated 05.07.2016. 5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the learned counsel, giving liberty to the petitioner to make proper application through Mee-seva, seeking deletion of property from the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A of the Registration Act, 1908. If such an application is filed, learned respondent No.2 shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, keeping given G.O.Ms.No.300 dated 05.07.2016, as expeditiously as possible. No order as to costs.
