[2025:RJ-JP:1452] (2 of 2) [CW-13081/2024] No.15/2020; Smt. Neha Johari and Others Vs. Sanjay Mahor and Others.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid application seeking compensation on account of death of Shri Naveen Kumar-her son in a road accident has been filed by the respondents No.1 to 3, the wife and children of the deceased wherein, on her application, she has been impleaded as respondent. He further submits that being mother of the deceased son, she is also entitled for compensation. Learned counsel submits that she is about 88 years of age. He prays that the aforesaid application is pending since the year 2019 and in view thereof, learned Tribunal be directed for its expeditious disposal.
Learned counsel for the respondents No.1 to 3 has no objection to the aforesaid prayer. Taking into consideration the contentions advanced by the
learned counsel for the respective parties especially, age of the petitioner who happens to be mother of the deceased, this Court finds it to be an exceptional case wherein, direction can be issued for expeditious disposal. Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed. The learned Tribunal is directed to expedite the disposal of the aforesaid application and endeavour to decide the same preferably within a period of eight months from the date of communication of this order. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
