1 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 264 OF 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A4, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.32 of 2024 of Annavaram Police Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offence punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 31.08.2024, at about 03.00 p.m., on credible information, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Annavaram Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, proceeded to the outskirts of Itukubeddalu Village, Balapam Panchayat and found A1 and A2 in possession and illegal transportation of 370.7 Kgs of Ganja. A1 and A2 confessed about the involvement of A3 to A5. The contraband and other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 2 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that the contraband allegedly seized from the possession of the accused is 370.7 Kgs of Ganja, which is a huge commercial quantity. It is submitted by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that the investigation is not yet completed and other accused are yet to be apprehended. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A4, at this stage. 7.
