This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Hussainabad P.S. Case No.80 of 2024, for offences under Sections 272, 273, 279, 307, 353 & 34 IPC and Section 47a of the Excise Act. The case is presently pending before the Court of learned S.D.J.M. Palamau at Daltonganj. 3. It is alleged that the petitioner was engaged in transportation of country made liquor illegally. The vehicle which was used to transport these contraband materials belong to this petitioner. 4. During the course of argument, learned A.P.P. representing the State, submits that there are fifteen similar nature of cases against this petitioner. 5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a habitual offender, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner. 6. Accordingly, this Anticipatory Bail Application stands dismissed.
