Public Prosecutor, appearing for the State respondent. 2. This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Smti Jumi Choudhary, seeking privilege of pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with Pathsala P.S. Case No. 99/2025 under Sections 353(1)/ 356(2)/ 79 of the BNS, 2023 read with Section 67 of the I.T. Act. Page No.# 2/2 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that as per the F.I.R., the petitioner had uploaded a What’s App status involving some allegations with regard to some ladies by using derogatory language. The petitioner thereafter received notice as per Section 35 of the BNSS, 2023 and she had appeared accordingly and her mobile phone was seized. 4. The learned counsel has submitted that the investigation is being carried on and there is no question of apprehension of hampering or tampering with the evidence of the case, as her mobile phone has already been seized. 5. Mr. K.K. Parasar, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor has objected the prayer for pre-arrest bail and prays for calling of the case diary. 6. We have gone through the contents of the F.I.R. and in the facts and circumstances of the case this court is inclined to grant the privilege of pre- arrest bail to the petitioner in connection with Pathsala P.S. Case No. 99/2025. 7. Accordingly, it is provided that in the event of arrest of the petitioner namely, Smti Jumi Choudhary, in connection with Pathsala P.S. Case No. 99/2025, the petitioner shall be released on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/ (Rupees ten thousand only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. 8. It is provided that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not hamper or temper with any evidence of the case. 9. The bail application stands disposed of.
