2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sessions Trial No. 213 of 2024 arising out of Noamundi P.S. Case No. 37 of 2023 corresponding to G.R. No. 118 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 325, 341, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, West Singhbhum at Chaibasa.
3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 3450 of 2024 by order dated 14.05.2024.
5. Petitioner is alleged to have inflicted several sharp cutting injuries on the person of the Informant. Injury No. 1 and 2 are incised wound on the neck and injury no. 3 is incised wound on the face of the Informant. All these injuries are grievous in nature.
6. Report regarding the stage of the trial, earlier called for, has been received. It appears that out of eleven charge sheet witnesses, five witnesses have been examined and trial was likely to be concluded within five months.
7. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected, at this stage.
