Subsequently, an election was held to the executive body of the said society. However, the result was not declared pursuant to certain interim directions passed in W.P.No.4 of 2024, which subsequently was dismissed as withdrawn. 2. While the appellants were so nominated to the executive body by the District Collector, on account of the change of Government, it appears that, their nomination was sought to be cancelled by the District Collector, which came to be challenged by the appellants before the learned single Judge, who dismissed the Writ Petition by virtue of the judgment and order impugned based on the principle of Doctrine of Pleasure following the Apex Court judgments in the cases of Om Narain Agarwal Vs. Nagar Palika Shahjahanpur and others^ as also Krishna S/o. Bulaji Borate Vs. State of Maharastra and others^. 3. Subsequently, it appears that the learned single Judge, following the view expressed in W.P.No.14987 of 2024 filed by the appellants herein, also dismissed W.P.Nos.12327, 14389, 13559 & 13409 of 2024, which up for consideration by this Court in W.A.Nos.684, 689, 690 & 691 of 2024. came 4. Learned counsel for the parties agree that the judgment and order rendered in W.A.No.684 of 2024 & batch is squarely applicable to the facts of the present case as well inasmuch as the judgments and orders which were set aside in W.A.No.684 of 2024 & batch was rendered on the basis of the judgment, which is impugned in the present Writ Appeal. 5. For the reasons mentioned in W.A.No.684 of 2024, the present Writ Appeal is allowed, and to that extent, the judgment and order impugned (1993) 2 see 242 ^ (2001) 2 see 441 shall stand set aside. The orders impugned passed by the District Collector i W.P.No.14987 of 2024 are, accordingly, set aside. No costs. in Consequently, connected miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
