23.06. 2025 Item No.25 Ali Ct. no. 24 C.R.M. (A) 1794 of 2025 In re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed on 23.05.2025 in connection with Dankuni Police Station Case No. 140 of 2025 dated 01.05.2025 under Sections 126(2)/115(2)/74 and 79 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023. And In Re: Nikunj Poddar This matter appears for correction. At the time of passing the order of bail this Court extended the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing a P.R. bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only). Thereafter, erroneously two registered sureties were directed to furnish the bond by the order of this Court. Accordingly, it appears that direction upon sureties is not required when P.R. Bond is directed to be produced by the petitioner. Thus, I think it necessary to correct necessary portion, the direction of this Court at paragraph 10 at page 3 of order dated May 28, 2025. In the order dated May 28, 2025 page No. 3, paragraph 10 at line 3, the portion of the order read as “with two registered sureties of like amount each” shall be deleted. The remaining portion of the said order shall remain unaltered. ( Subhendu Samanta, J.)
