GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: :: ORDER :: The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.3 is not updating the Record of Rights and issuing Pattadar Passbook and Title Deed in respect of Ac.3.00 cents in Sy.No.492-2 of Budili Village, Gorantla Mandal, Sri Satya Sai District, despite the representations made by the petitioner on 22.07.2019, 30.07.2021 & 12.06.2025 respectively. 2. Heard Sri M. Chalapathi, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri G. Divya Theja, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, appeared for respondents 1 to 3. Page 3 of 4 SRS,J W.P.No.18930 of 2025 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the then respondent No.3 assigned land to the petitioner’s husband. The name of the petitioner’s husband was updated in the Record of Rights, and a Pattadar Pass Book was issued vide No.420. The petitioner’s husband died due to ill- health and hence, the petitioner made representations referred supra, seeking updation of the Record of Rights. 4. Sri G. Divya Theja, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has to make an application under Form VI-A as per Rule 18 of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1989 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Rules’). Upon filing such an application by annexing all the relevant documents, the Tahsildar will consider the same and pass appropriate orders. 5. In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will apply in Form VI-A by annexing all the relevant documents to respondent No.3. 6. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the learned counsel, giving liberty to the petitioner to make an application per Form VI-A as per the Rules by annexing all the relevant documents to respondent No.3. If such an application is filed, the learned respondent No.3 shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, strictly as per the law. No order as to costs.
