JUSTICE MAHENDAR KUMAR GOYAL Order 17/09/2025 On 22.08.2025, this Court passed following order: The matter pertains to deferment of entitlement of the petitioner for grant of second and third selection scale by two years on account of award of two warnings. Learned counsel for the respondents prays for and is granted time to justify the deferment on account of warning. List the matter on 28.08.2025 at top of the list as prayed. Today, learned counsel for the respondents very fairly admits that the benefit of second and third selection scale could not be deferred on account of warnings. In view thereof, nothing survives for consideration in the instant writ petition and it is disposed of in following term(s) as [2025:RJ-JP:38075] (2 of 2) [CW-316/2016] agreed and requested by the learned counsels for the respective parties:- 1. The respondents would extend the petitioner benefit of second and third selection scale within a period of eight weeks from today from the date the same fell due. All the arrears alongwith arrears of salary as well as retiral dues, after revision of the pay scale, shall be paid within a period of twelve weeks from today with interest @ 6% per annum failing which the interest shall be leviable @ 9% per annum after the expiry of the period of twelve weeks and the officer(s) responsible for delay would bear the enhanced component.
