Heard the parties.
The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Gopikandar P.S. Case No. 07 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.546 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 461/379 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Walter Bhengra, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Dumka.
On 03.03.2024, dacoity was committed in the school of the informant. The dacoits looted away several articles, including computer parts from there.
It was submitted that petitioners are not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that some of the looted articles were recovered from the possession of the petitioners and petitioners are in custody for about one year. It was also submitted that co-accused Bikash Murmu has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No.715/2025.
Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Walter Bhengra, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Dumka, or his successor, in connection with Gopikandar P.S. Case No. 07 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.546 of 2024.
