The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside or order dated 27.11.1998 (Annexure P/3) whereby he was reverted from the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector to Constable and repatriated from Dog Squad, CID Haryana to the parent District Police Cadre, Ambala. 2. The petitioner is an Ex-serviceman and he joined Haryana Police in February’ 1977. The operation of impugned order was stayed by order dated 08.07.1999. He by now must have been retired on attaining the age of superannuation. On account of stay of impugned order, he continued to work with CID Department, Haryana.
