HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU Case: SWP No. 2577/2012 Sumiya Arshad ..... Petitioner(s) Through :- None. Vs State of J&K and Ors. .....Respondent(s) Through :- Ms. Jagmeet Kour, Advocate vice Mr. Ravinder Gupta, AAG CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE ORDER 04.02.2025 Record reveals that in the instant petition, notice was issued way back on 07.12.2012 and since then, the case has not come up for hearing for more than 12 years and no effort was made by the petitioner to get the instant petition listed. Today also, when the case was taken up, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner and an inference can be drawn that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the instant petition. Even otherwise also, the relief which has ben prayed by the petitioner in the instant petition, has been rendered infructuous with the efflux of time, which cannot be granted at this stage. In the aforesaid backdrop, the writ petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous along with connected application(s), if any. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated. (WASIM SADIQ NARGAL) JUDGE JAMMU 04.02.2025 Mihul Sr. No. 37
