ORDER Date : 09.12.2025
Mr. A. R. Sidkar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the recruitment for the post of District Technical Support Staff (DTSS) initiated vide the advertisement dated 22.12.2023 has been taken to its logical conclusion, the services of the petitioner has since been discharged. He on instructions submits that the petitioner desires not to press the present writ petition in order to explore other avenues of employment under the same employer. Mr. A. R. Sikdar, submits that he be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty and also a direction to the respondent authorities to release his arrear salaries, pending since April, 2023. The above prayer made by Mr. A. R. Sikdar, is not objected to by Mr. J. K. Goswami, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed on withdrawal with liberty as prayed for by the petitioner. It is provided that the dismissal of the present writ petition would not bar the respondents from considering the claim of the petitioner for release of arrear salaries, if any due. The petitioner may prefer a representation before the respondent authorities for release of his arrear salaries which shall be given its due
consideration in accordance with law.
