BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 08-12-2025 Heard Shri K. Uddin, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. G. Hazarika, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue Department and Shri H. Sarma, learned Addl. Senior Govt. Advocate, Assam. Notice was issued in this case on 22.08.2025. The cause of action was with regard to non-grant of NOC for inter-religious sale of land. The learned counsel for the petitioner has however submitted that the application was considered and thereafter rejected as there were mis-match of the particulars of the land in question. He accordingly submits that there may not be any live cause of action to be adjudicated in the present petition. The aforesaid submission is not objected to by the learned counsel for the respondents. The writ petition is accordingly closed as infructuous. It is needless to state that the petitioners would be at liberty to file for fresh permission by giving the correct particulars. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
