This petition is filed by the husband challenging the registration of crime against him, which has culminated in filing of the chargesheet in C.C. No.26385/2014. 2. Learned counsel points out that the dispute between the petitioner and his wife has been settled and the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.17,00,000/- and the marriage itself is dissolved in M.C. No.3387/2012 and confirmed by this Court in M.F.A. No.6750/2016. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:9972 CRL.P No. 6681 of 2023 3. He places on record the order sheet in Crl.A. No.288/2020, whereby the Appellate Court has taken note of the fact that two demand drafts of Rs.3,00,000/- each dated 08.02.2023 and 16.02.2023 have been paid and has permitted the husband to withdraw the appeal that had been filed challenging an order passed under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. 4. In the light of the above, there is no justification to continue the proceedings against the petitioner and the same shall accordingly stand quashed. This Writ Petition is, accordingly, allowed. 5.
