The present application has been filed praying for refund of the statutory deposition of Rs. 25,000/- which was deposited by the petitioner before the Registry of this Court at the time of filing the MAC Appeal No. 152/2020. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the MAC Appeal No. 152/2020 has already been disposed of by this Court vide judgment & order dated 23.12.2019. However, the direction to refund the statutory deposit has not been issued and therefore it is prayed that a direction may be issued to refund the same. The application is accordingly allowed. The Registry is directed to refund the statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- to the petitioner/insurance company along with the interest which is accrued. The IA stands disposed of.
