1. The prayer in this Writ Petition is for issuance of direction to the respondents to consider the application which has been filed by the petitioner for grant of No Objection Certificate (NOC), as required under Section 144 of the Petroleum Rules, 2002 (for short, ‘Rules’).
2. Since the petitioner has sought for grant of NOC, which is required under the Rules, it would be

appropriate to direct respondent No.1 to consider the said request and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Writ Petition is, accordingly,
