This contempt case is filed complaining of violation of interim order, dated 27.06.2024 in W.P.No.13027 of 2024. The petitioner filed W.P.No.13027 of 2024 to declare the action of respondents in not taking steps for enhancement of the petitioner’s age of superannuation from 60 to 62 years, despite the proposals sent by respondent No.3 society, as illegal and arbitrary. By order dated 27.06.2024, interim order was granted directing the respondents to continue the petitioner in service till he attains the age of superannuation of 62 years. Complaining violation of said order, the above contempt case is filed. Today when the matter is taken, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner did not press the writ petition and the same was dismissed as withdrawn. Given the above submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, since the writ petition, itself is dismissed as withdrawn, this contempt case is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
