For the State : Mr. Someshwar Roy, A.P.P …..... 05/17.06.2025: This anticipatory bail application under Section(s) 482 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest for offences registered under Section(s) 467, 468, 471, 472, 420, 406, 409, 120B IPC in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 266 of 2011 (GR No. 853 of 2011) , pending in the Court of learned CJM, Gumla. Heard the parties at length and had gone through the documents, annexed along with this application. Opportunity was given to the State to oppose the bail, which the State availed and opposed. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has cooperated during the investigation and the police did not find any reason to arrest the petitioner during investigation. He further submits that chargesheet has been filed and cognizance has been taken on 13.3.2023. Thereafter summons have also been issued against the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid submission, the petitioner should appear before the Court concerned, who has issued the summons, as there is no apprehension of arrest of the petitioner.
