This application filed under section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraskha Sanhita, 2023, the accused petitioner namely, Maikel Sarania, has prayed for bail in connection with Dispur P.S. Case No. 838/2025 under Section 76/77 of BNS, 2023. 3. The accused was arrested in this case on 15.10.2025. 4. The FIR was lodged on 13.10.2025. The gist of the FIR is that the accused who resided in a rented house near the informant’s house, was involved in making her videos. 5. The case diary has been received and the I/O submits an objection contending that the accused is habitually involved in these illegal activities and making videos of girls of their private moments and storing them electronically. The I/O has expressed objection that the accused may harm the victim by himself or by some other way. 6. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the allegations are serious and though the investigation has progressed but the same is not yet completed. 7. I have perused the grounds of arrest available in the case diary. 8. During investigation, it was found that about 40 videos in the mobile phone of the petitioner having such objectionable videos not only the informant but of some other girls also. 9. Considering the seriousness and the materials which have been Page No.# 3/3 found during investigation – this bail petition of the present accused is rejected at this stage. 10.
