GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent forcing the petitioners herein to have a settlement with regard to a civil matter with the unofficial respondent herein as per his terms and conditions , and in threatening the petitioners that various criminal cases would be booked against the petitioners and their family members , if the petitioners do not heed to the warnings, as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional being violative of Arts., 14, 19 (1) (g), and of the Constitution of India, part from various judicial pronouncements of this Hon'ble Court as well as the Honourable Apex Court and consequently direct the respondent no 4 not to call the petitioners and threaten them to settle the issue with the unofficial respondent.” 2. Sri V.Nitesh, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that Police are interfering with the civil disputes between the Petitioners and the unofficial Respondent and are forcing to settle the same. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the Police have not interfered in the civil disputes between the Petitioners and the unofficial Respondent. 4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to interfere in the civil disputes between the Petitioners and the unofficial Respondent. There shall be no order as to costs.
