GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 ORDER:- The petitioner is aggrieved by the issuance of the notice dated 11.03.2025, whereby the 2nd respondent proposed to cancel the tax assessment of the petitioner’s property. 2. It is submitted that the petitioner, through counsel, submitted a reply to the said notice on 18.03.2025. However, it is submitted that the 2nd respondent has erroneously informed that the tax assessment shall be cancelled on the ground that the documents submitted along with the application for tax assessment were allegedly not genuine. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent. 4. Perused the record. 5. The legal notice addressed by the petitioner in response to the impugned proceedings is admittedly issued by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to submit a proper representation along with all the required documents to substantiate the petitioner’s stand and reply to the impugned proceedings, and on receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law. 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
