The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: " i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the Sub Divisional Officer, Saidpur, District- Ghazipur/ respondent no- 2 to consider and decide the application of the petitioner dated 8.4.2024 filed in Case No-T202514290400046 Ajit Kumar Vs Sunil and others U/s 15 of U.P. United Provinces Tenancy Act, 1939 and to finalize the demarcation proceeding in respect to the Gata No- 993/1 area-0.177 Hct. and Gata No-993/2 area- 0.025 hct., situated in Village-Saidpur, Pargana and Tehsil- Saidpur, District- Ghazipur." 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the aforementioned application dated 8.4.2024 in Case No-T202514290400046 (Ajit Kumar Vs Sunil and others) is pending before respondent no.2 for adjudication. He prayed that the same may be decided expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. The present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent No. 2, Sub Divisional Officer, Saidpur, District- Ghazipur to consider and decide the aforementioned application of the petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after ensuring service upon all the respondents and after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided that there is no other legal impediment.
