ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: …. to issue an Order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the 5th respondent in registering the FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 9-12-2019 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently direct the respondents to register the FIR and investigate into the……”
2. Heard Sri B.Rangaswamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the police are not registering the FIR on the complaint dated 09.12.2019 made by the petitioner.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that since the subject matter is civil in nature, the police have not registered the crime on the information which was submitted by the petitioner to the police.
5. Considering the same, this writ petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy according to law before the appropriate forum. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
