(Oral) The present Letters Patent Appeal, which is barred by 105 days, is directed against the order of the learned Single Judge, passed in Civil Writ Petition No. 3142 of 2023, decided on 23.04.2024, whereby the learned Single Judge while deciding six writ petitions, CWP No. 3151 of 2023, Veer Singh alias Amar Nath Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & others, being the lead case, held that the State would initiate acquisition proceedings 1 Whether the reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 within four weeks under the relevant statute for fair compensation for the land which has been utilized for the purpose of construction of road.
2. It is brought to our notice that an appeal being LPA No. 437 of 2024, was preferred by the appellant-State in lead case, i.e. CWP No. 3151 of 2023, supra, which was dismissed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide judgment dated 06.12.2024.
3. Keeping in view the above fact, we do not find any reason to entertain the present appeal. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
4. Consequently, the application for condonation of delay stands disposed of as having become infructuous.
5. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
