Anand, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R.J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. This is an application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 praying for release of the petitioner namely, Prabal Kalita on bail in connection with Panbazar P.S. Case No. 287/2025 under Sections 118(2)/296/351(2) of the BNS, 2023. Page No.# 2/2 It appears that the petitioner has already spent 45 days in judicial custody and the statutory period of detention is 60 days. It is also submitted that the investigation of the case has also progressed as revealed in the case diary. Considering above, the prayer for bail is allowed. The petitioner named above is allowed to go on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with a surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup(M) in connection with the aforesaid case.
