Counsel for the Petitioner: 1.C SRINIVASA BABA Counsel for the Respondent(S): 1.GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: ORDER: Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-ll, across the Bench, would submit that in the light of G.O.Ms.No.714 Revenue (Endowments) Department, dated 13.07.1989, the respondents are ready to revise the pension of the individual in compliance of the said G.O. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that let there be a direction to the petitioner to approach the concerned office for submitting necessary papers, so that they will attend the request of the petitioner. 3 For ready reference, it is relevant to extract para 6 of the said G.O., 2. which reads as under; “6) Government accordingly order sanctioned of pensionary benefits to all the retired Executive Officers/Managers of the Endowments Department taking into consideration the total service including the temple service rendered by them. The expenditure required for this purpose will be initially met from the consolidated fund of the State.” By recording the same, as rightly put by learned Assistant Government 3. Pleader that in the light of the G.O.Ms.No.714, the services rendered by the petitioner in the temple also need to be considered for fixing the pension.] In that view, the Writ Petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to 4. approach the concerned authority and submit necessary papers for revision of his pension. On submitting such papers, the respondent authorities are directed to comply the same without any further delay, as expeditiously as possible, but npt later than two (02) weeks from the date of submission of such papers.
