Goswami. This application u/s XLI Rule V of the CPC has been filed praying for stay on operation of the impugned judgment and order dated 31.07.2025 passed by the learned MACT, Nagaon in MAC Case No. 382/2021. The learned counsel for the appellant submits that the connected MAC Appeal has also been admitted for hearing wherein he has taken a good ground of appeal. In this regard the judgment and award dated 31.07.2025 may be stayed during the pendency of this appeal. After considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission made by learned counsel for the applicant, the judgment and award dated 31.07.2025 is stayed till the next date of listing subject to the condition that the appellant shall deposit 50% of the awarded amount before Registry of this Court within 4 weeks.
