The learned High Court Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent No.1.
2. Sri Shanthakumar H T, learned counsel files vakalath on behalf of the respondent No.2.
3. The petitioner to implead the husband of the respondent No.2 as respondent No.2 and amend the cause title.
4. The petitioner challenges the registration of the FIR in Crime No.47/2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364-A, 368, 324, 323, 506, 34 of IPC and Section 66(E) of IT Act.

5. The respondent No.2 lodged the FIR stating that her husband was subjected to assault, and nude photograph was circulated in social media in relation to the money transaction.
6. The parties are present before this Court, and have filed an application for compounding stating that they have amicably resolved the dispute. In terms of the settlement, the respondent No.2 has agreed to withdraw all the allegations, and has no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings.
7. The husband of the complainant is before this Court, and has filed an affidavit stating that the dispute between the petitioner (accused No.1) has resolved the dispute amicably. In terms of the settlement, he has agreed to withdraw all the allegations made against the petitioner, and has no objection for quashing the criminal proceedings.
8. Although the offences alleged against the petitioner is cognizable and non-compoundable, considering that the parties have amicably resolved the dispute, subjecting the petitioner to trial would serve no purpose. In light of the settlement, the likelihood of the police filing charge sheet is remote and bleak.
9. In view of the above, continuing the criminal proceedings against the petitioner would amount to an abuse of the process of law.
10. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. The impugned criminal proceedings in CC No.16469/2024 (arising out of Crime No.47/2022) pending on the file of the learned VI

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bengaluru Rural District, Bengaluru, insofar as it relates to the petitioner (accused No.1) is hereby quashed.
