Sharma & Mr. Vishavdeep Sharma, Additional Advocates General, with Ms. Menka Raj Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General Virender Singh, Judge (oral) Petitioner- Kuldeep Singh has invoked the extra-ordinary jurisdiction of this Court, by way of the present petition, seeking the following substantive relief:- “i. That the respondents may be ordered to grant work charge status to the petitioner from the date he completed 8 years service, with all benefits incidental thereof.” 2. It has fairly been submitted by learned counsel, appearing for both the parties, that similar issue has 1 Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes. 2 already been decided by a Division Bench of this Court, in LPA No. 165 of 2021, titled as ‘State of H.P. & others versus Surajmani and another, decided on 12.1.2023, alongwith connected matters. 3. In such situation, it would be just and appropriate, for this Court, to direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner, in the light of the decision in Surajmani’s case (supra), within a period of six weeks, from today, by passing a reasoned order. 4.
