Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. B. Bhuyan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the BTC. The grievance of the petitioner was with regard to the action of the BTC in cancelling the settlement of the market in question with him and rather giving it to the respondent no. 6. Ms. Bhuyan, the learned Senior Counsel, BTC has however submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and the market in question has now been settled with the petitioner. In this connection, she has placed before this Court a written instruction dated 08.01.2026. In view of the aforesaid instructions, this Court is of the view that there is no live cause of action to be adjudicated. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.
