This Interlocutory Application has been filed by the applicants/ appellants seeking condonation of delay of 224 days in preferring the connected appeal against the judgment dated 14.12.2023 passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court in WP(C) No.30/2015. We have heard Ms. B. Sarma, learned Advocate for the applicants/Union of India and Mr. L. Mohan, learned Advocate for the sole respondent. After going through the averments made in the application, we are satisfied that good grounds have been assigned by the applicants/appellants for condoning the delay of 224 days in preferring the connected appeal. Accordingly, we are inclined to condone the delay. The Interlocutory Application stands allowed. The Registry to process the appeal and, if the same is found defect-free, list the same on 07.01.2026 under the appropriate heading.
