Also heard Mr. R.J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. This is an application under Section 482 of the NBSS, 2023 praying for granting of Page No.# 2/2 Anticipatory bail to the petitioner, namely, Akbar Ali, in connection with Lakhipur Police Station Case No. 125/2025 under Section 137(2)/87 of the BNS, 2023. The TCR as called for has been received. Upon perusal of the statement of the victim herself recorded before the Police as well as the Magistrate, it does not appear that any incriminating material has arisen against the present petitioner. Considering the above, the prayer for pre-arrest bail is allowed. It is provided that in the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail with a bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Authority in connection with the aforesaid case. It is further provided that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating officer (I.O) within 7 days from today and shall co-operate with the investigation. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
