Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. Page No.# 3/3 Gogoi, learned standing counsel appearing for the PHE Department. The present writ petition has been instituted claiming that the petitioner was not paid the admitted amount which he claimed as bills for work executed by him for the State authorities. The State respondents have filed an affidavit in the matter whereby it is an admitted position that the petitioner is entitled for payment of Rs. 5,30,000/- (five lakhs thirty thousand). Mr. Gogoi has submitted that process is underway to make payments to the petitioner as entitled to him. In view of the above this matter is disposed off directing the respondents to take expeditious steps for payments of the admitted to the petitioner within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from today.
