Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. This is an application praying for pre-arrest bail in connection with Kalaigaon P.S. Case No. 83/2024 under Sections 61(2)/ 117(2)/109/351(2) (3)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The learned APP submits that the charge sheet has already been submitted in the present case vide Kalaigaon P.S. C.S. No. 10/25 dated 09.03.2025. Having regard to the fact that the petitioners are housewives having children, this Court had granted interim pre-arrest bail to the petitioners. Considering that the investigation is long over and the charge sheet was filed way back on 09.03.2025, it is not necessary for the petitioners to be taken into custody. Accordingly, the order of interim pre-arrest bail dated 17.03.2025 is hereby made absolute on the same terms and conditions. The bail petition stands allowed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
