The writ petition was listed on 23.12.2015, and an interim order was granted in W.P.M.P.No. 53825 of 2015, which reads as under: SRS,J W.P.No.41709 of 2015 “Pending disposal of the writ petition, as the petitioner claims that the amounts due are under admitted bills, there shall be a direction to the respondent authorities to verify and quantify the amounts due to the petitioner in terms of the works admittedly executed and such undisputed amounts, if any, shall be paid to the petitioner within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. …” 3. Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation, on instructions submitted that the amounts payable to the petitioners were paid and hence, no cause survives for adjudication. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are not in touch with the office. 5. The submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue is made part of the record. 6. Since the amounts were paid to the petitioners, no cause survives in the writ petition. 7. Hence, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
