Laskar, learned counsel for the applicant-writ petitioner; Mr. K. Gogoi, learned CGC for the opposite party-respondent no. 1; and Mr. G. The instant application is preferred by the applicant-writ petitioner seeking impleadment of the following person/entity :- ‘Shree Basuki Trading [Represented by one of its partner, Sri Bijay Kumar Jaiswal. Having its office Page No.# 3/4 at 98, Manicktala ain Road, Satinsen Sarani Lane-A, Plot No.-18, Near Electric Meter Room, Kolkata-700054’ as party-respondent no. 5 in the accompanying writ petition. 3. The applicant as the writ petitioner has preferred the accompanying writ petition assailing inter alia a bidding process initiated an e-auction notice 29.09.2021 [Annexure-9 to the writ petition] and in the said e-auction process, the above mentioned person/entity has emerged as the successful bidder. This interlocutory application has been filed with the averment that for proper adjudication of the issues involved in the accompanying writ petition, the presence of the afore-mentioned person/entity as a party-respondent would be necessary. 4. The contention of the applicant-writ petitioner is not opposed by Mr. Gogoi and Mr. Goswami, learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 1 – 3. 5. As the proposed party-respondent is the successful bidder in the e-auction process which has been challenged in the accompanying writ petition, this Court is of the view that it is a necessary party for effective adjudication of the issues involved in the accompanying writ petition. 6. Accordingly, the instant interlocutory application stands allowed. 7. The learned counsel for the applicant-writ petitioner shall file an amended cause-title in terms of the Notification no. 79 dated 19.06.2023 before the Registry within 3 [three] working days from today and on submission of the amended Cause-Title, the Registry shall do the necessary corrections in the Cause-Title of the writ petition as well as in the CIS and thereafter, list the writ Page No.# 4/4 petition on 20.02.2026 in the admission column.
