By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents authorities to allot the land to the petitioner’s society in respect of part of land bearing Khasra No.314/1 area ad-measuring 2.47 acres and part of land bearing Khasra No.110/1 area ad-measuring 1 acre, total 3.47 acres situated at village Rewadih, Tahsil and District:Rajnandgaon, C.G. 2. Earlier the petitioner had approached this Court in WPC No.1863/2014 for the same relief and the writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 21/07/2017 Annexure P-3 on the statement of the State counsel that the State is ready and willing to allot the land to the petitioner Society at Village Rewadih, Tahsil District:Rajnandgaon, C.G. and the petitioner was directed to submit a representation and the State authorities were directed to take necessary steps to resolve the dispute within a period of three months from the date of issuance of order dated 21/07/2017. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuance to 3 the order passed by this Court dated 21/07/2017 in WPC No.1863/2014, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent authorities and on the basis of which, the respondent/Nazule Officer, Rajnandgaon issued a proclamation dated 12/12/2017 inviting objection towards the proposal of allotment of land to the petitioner, thereafter, no steps has been taken by the respondent authorities regarding the allotment of the said land to the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the State submits that the order of this Court in WPC No.1863/2014 dated 21/07/2017 will be considered and complied with in accordance with the direction & observation made and undertaking given in the writ petition before this Court and necessary steps shall be taken to conclude the proceeding which was started by issuance of proclamation dated 12/12/2017 within stipulated period. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the order of this Court dated 21/07/2017 passed in WPC No.1863/2014 and the proclamation made pursuance to the order of this Court on 12/12/2017. 6. As the proclamation was issued in the year 2017, the Collector, Rajnandgaon/respondent is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take necessary steps regarding allotment of land in question pursuance to the undertaking made by the State counsel before the High Court on 21/07/2017, the 4 Collector shall take a decision and conclude the proceeding within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to apprise the Collector about the order passed by this Court. 7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
