Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- i) “That writ of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the District Panchayat Officer i.e., respondent No.3 to conclude the inquiry against the Pradhan Gram Panchayat Lot within a time bound manner, since respondent No.3 as a result of political manipulation has passed the suspension order on 14.02.2025 and thereafter, he has passed the revocation order on 06.09.2025 and he has not proceeded with the inquiry against the said Pradhan till today in any manner, which is clear cut dereliction of duty on the part of respondent No.3. ii) That writ of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the District Panchayat Officer i.e., respondent No.3 to take into consideration while record and statements filed by the petitioner against the Pradhan of Gram Panchayat 2 Lot in terms of her complaint, since the respondent authorities denied to accept the record as well as statements qua the inquiry of said Pradhan.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of the Court to the reply filed by respondents No.1 to 4 and has submitted that now the inquiry stands conducted and in terms of the reply, the inquiry report shall be forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner concerned for appropriate action. 3. In light of this development, these proceedings are closed with the observation that let needful be done at the end of the Deputy Commissioner as expeditiously as possible. It is clarified that this Court has not made any observation on the merits of the case. 4. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
