With the consent of the parties, the petition is being disposed of. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that a vehicle which has been purchased by him in an auction conducted by the respondent-Bank on 25.02.2025, is not being registered by the Regional Transport Officer without any cogent reason. The Certificate of Sale is appended with this petition as Annexure P-2 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:32838 and the copy of E-Auction dated 14.01.2025 is also there as Annexure P-1. 4. Having heard learned Counsel for the parties, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the request that has been made by the petitioner for issuance of Certificate of Registration be at least dealt with by the said Authority and appropriate decision thereof be taken within a period of two weeks from today. This Court, though is not making any observation on the merit of this case, but this order is being passed for the reason that the Regional Transport Officer concerned owes a duty to do the needful in terms of the application/request of the petitioner and the Authority cannot sleep over the same.
