Order 27/08/2025
1.
Learned counsel for the respondent, at the outset, submits that the respondent is in the process of considering the case of the petitioner in Divorcee Category and decision is yet to be taken.
2.
Learned counsel for the respondent submits that only relief which has been sought in the instant writ petition is to consider the petitioner in Divorcee Category and since the respondent is already considering the petitioner in the said category, no cause of action for filing the instant writ petition survives.
3. In view of above statements made by learned counsel for the respondent, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the writ petition at this stage.
4. Hence, instant writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. However, rights and contentions of the parties are kept open.
