Abedin, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. A.R. Tahbildar, learned counsel appearing for the sole contemnor. 2. Mr. Tahbildar, learned counsel for the contemnor submits that by way of a speaking Order dated 25.11.2025, the direction of the Hon’ble High Court in W.P.(C.) no. 531/2024 (Sri Page No.# 2/2 Mukul Kumar Deka vs. the State of Assam and others dated 16.02.2024) has already been complied with. Therefore, he submits that the instant contempt case should be closed. 3. In terms of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the speaking Order dated 25.11.2025 is kept on record marking it as Document ‘X’. 4. The operative portion of the aforesaid speaking Order dated 25.11.2025 is reproduced hereinbelow :- In view of the above facts that the petitioner Sri Mukul Kumar Deka, Sr. Assistant who retired from service on 31.03.2024 on attaining age of superannuation and in compliance to Hon'ble High Court's direction passed in WPC No.531/2024, Sri Mukul Kumar Deka, Sr. Assistant (Rtd) Guwahati College has been promoted notionally to the post of Head Assistant with effect from 30/03/2024. However, he will be entitled for pay scale of the Head Assistant which is same as Supervisory Assistant, as per Govt. letter vide eFile No.545858/12 dated 06/11/2025 Issued by the Secretary to the Govt of Assam, Higher Education Department in pursuance to Notification No.eCF-526063/551, dated 21-09-2024. Hence the Judgement and Order dated 16/2/2024 passed in WPC No 531/2024 (Mukul Kumar Deka -Vs-State of Assam & Ors) hereby complied with. 5.
