Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed with the following reliefs :- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 17.08.2024 passed by the respondent no. 2 rejecting the application for issuance of minority certificate in favour of the petitioner. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction commanding the respondent no. 2 to decide the explanation of the petitioner dated 13.12.2024 filed in pursuance of the letter of research officer dated 04.12.2024 within a stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Upon due consideration, we are of the view that the respondent no. 4/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Ghaziabad be directed to consider and decide the explanation / representation of the petitioner dated 13.12.2024. 4. Accordingly, the respondent no. 4/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Ghaziabad is directed to pass a reasoned order upon the explanation/representation of the petitioner dated 13.12.2024 (Annexure No. 10 to the writ petition) within a period of twelve weeks from date after granting an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned. 5.
